| Within the Crossed Borders project, training and an expert excursion for tourist guides will be organized. Tourist guides will be acquainted with the history, tourist attractions, and other hallmarks of the area and with the importance of the military historical region. This will contribute greatly to better knowledge and increased interest in the local history of the project’s area. Education is primarily intended for those who already are tourist guides and wish to extend their knowledge in the field of leading tours with learning of the hallmarks of the local history within the project’s theme. A two-day theoretic training and a tourist guide excursion will be organized. Tourist guides will then ensure a consistent and expert guiding throughout the area. At Klana, which already has a long-lasting tradition of holding history seminars, an international history conference will be organized, which will contribute to the promotion and identification of the military historical region and will serve as an important source of historic discoveries, which will then be used for promotional materials and tourist offer of the area. |
